Taper: JEMS
NOTE (by
Butterking, distributed with .flac files): Another
of the several indoor Zoo TV shows JEMS captured, this one looks short
but is complete as the band skipped "Desire" and "Ultraviolet" this night.
On the bright side, the set boasts a real "Van Diemen's Land" and a extremely
spirited crowd. This is another halfway up, halfway back job, and you'll
here a bit of low talking here and there, but it is otherwise serviceable.
NOTE: As mentioned above, the taper's location wasn't optimal. This results in a sound that is a bit thin and slightly distant. The recording seems to slightly favor the high end. While not one of the best recordings from the JEMS collection, this is a very solid bootleg nonetheless.
I compared this bootleg to "Shopping At Home With Bono" and they appear to have been created from different source recordings. Personally, I prefer the slightly fuller sound on "Shopping At Home With Bono".
