NOTE: This recording was converted from cassette to CDR by Dana Fletcher (fletcher@nhvt.net). A decent recording that could be made a lot better with some fairly simple remastering (see below). Unlike the commercial bootleg "Is This A Party Or What", this recording includes the entire concert. The first four songs suffer from a low overall volume and a lack of clarity that make them sound distant and a bit muddy. However, sound quality does improve considerably after "Mysterious Ways". Unfortunately, the volume remains pretty low. There is a sloppy edit between "Satellite of Love" and "Bad" during which approximately one second of the former is repeated before the latter begins. I would suggest waiting until somebody remasters this bootleg before acquiring it.
With a little remastering, this recording could probably be made into something pretty special. When the recording was transferred to CDR, the volume on the cassette player was evidently set pretty low. So the volume of this bootleg should be substantially increased. Also, to make the recording a bit more clear, you could reduce the bass a bit and jack up the treble. There are sixteen seconds of dead air before the recording begins, so that would provide you with a nice noise sample with which to remove the tape hiss.
If you're interested in remastering this recording, I will provide with a copy for free so long as you agree to give me a copy of the remastered version.
