NOTE (by madelf, distributed with original .flac files): I know there are a couple of other different versions of this show flowing about but I have been told this is the best one. You can check out the samples and judge for yourself.
NOTE (by Mike Duchek, distributed with .flac files): This one played too slow. The first part was a little off, and the middle and end were off by more. Given that the vocals but not so much the instruments were what came through, it was hard to get it just right.
As I write this, I haven't finished listening to this one, but it sounds great, and it's a rare moment where you hear Adam, Larry and the Edge all talking or singing on stage at some point in the show.
NOTE (by Mike Duchek, posted on U2 Torrents): Well this one was really slow for the end parts. As you probably know, I got this off Dime. It's a pretty typical indoor recording. I'd say Bono comes through a lot more clearly than the music, but it's still pretty good, not too much individual audience noise or anything.
NOTE: A very nice recording of one of a special gig - U2 performing on St. Patrick's Day in the band's favorite American city. Sound quality is excellent. The recording is very crisp and and the high end in particular is sharp. Audience noise is certainly a factor, but I think that the boisterous crowd helps to give the listener a sense of the joyous atmoshpere at this concert.
