NOTE (by taper, distributed with .flac files): Great show, with a very energetic and entusiastic crowd of 80.000.  As Paul MacGuinnes said on U2.com about the show , "it was one of the very best - the band were on top form and the crowd outstanding.’ I put the Mic in the top of an umbrella and recorded with no problems until the end of "Miss Sarajevo". Then a security guy appeared and tried to take the record off.  I gave the mic to a friend and he put it in his t-shirt.  So the quality after that isn´t the best, but still listenable. "WTSHNN" and "One" were missed.  BTW, you can hear all the important moments in the show, a great show with an amazing band and amazing crowd response.  And of course... you´ll hear The Edge playin´ Charango.

NOTE: Reminiscent of many of the audience recordings from the European leg of the Vertigo Tour, this sound on this recording is just a tad distant and audience noise is quite prominent.  Some listeners will likely feel that this adds to the live concert feel of the recording.  Others will likely wish it weren't there.  The sound does become much more muffled after the mics are put inside the taper's friend's t-shirt.  In addition, when the taper's friend makes comments during this time it sounds almost as if he is talking right into the microphone.
