NOTE: Definitely one of the more powerful bootlegs from the European leg of the Vertigo Tour. The strength of the music and vocals gives this recording a more dynamic sound than the majority of recordings from the second leg of the tour. That's not to say that the overall sound is perfect, but the recording is very solid. Audience noise is not much of a factor.
When he posted the recording on U2 Torrents,
the taper mentioned that he "had occasional distortion with OKMIIR" mics.
He later posted that "the distortion might not be from the mics but from
when I used the normalize feature to bring the volume up after transferring".
The distortion in question is very minor and, if I am hearing it correctly,
results in a tiny bit of high end sizzle on occasion. Certainly nothing
to get overly concerned about. It sounds as if the taper's normalization
may have also produced the very soft hiss in the background throughout
this recording.
