NOTE: Another excellent recording featuring a powerful overall sound with very nice quality and clarity.  Just a bit more audience noise on this recording than on the one from the previous night.

For the first time on the tour, no songs make their tour debut on this night.  Pope John Paul II had died earlier in the day and before "Miracle Drug" Bono speaks of his private audience with the pontiff -- during which he gave the Pope a pair of Fly shades.  Bono describes Pope John Paul II as "a great showman, a great performer, a great communicator".   Bono again butchers the first verse of "40", starting so badly out of tune that the band has to start the song over again.
