NOTE: Another excellent recording from the Vertigo Tour.  Vocals and music are both very clear and audience noise is only really audible between tracks.  A very nice overall mix of sound.  A few people can be heard clapping in the vicinity of the taper -- not right next to him, but somewhere close enough to him that the clapping can barely be heard in the background -- can be heard from time to time.

The band shakes up the setlist quite a bit, but only two songs that haven't been played on the tour thus far are introduced: "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and "Mysterious Ways".  Most of the changes consist of blocks of songs -- for example, "Love and Peace", "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "Bullet the Blue Sky", and "Running To Stand Still" -- being moved around, but even this is more variation than we have become accustomed to on the past four tours.

The boys are certainly still learning their new material -- perhaps the best reminder of this tonight is Edge's inability to start "City of Blinding Lights".  After he strings out the plucky guitar intro for what seems like forever, Bono eventually gives him a verbal cue by saying "Try the slide bit here".  Bono struggles to find the proper key while singing "40", making a chore out of the song.  In the middle of "40", Bono says "Tonight, we sing this for the Holy Father.  A friend to the world's poor...and a great wearer of Fly shades".  Pope John Paul II would die of septic shock the next day.
