***PER TAPER'S REQUEST, DO NOT TORRENT***

NOTE: The sound quality on this recording is virtually idential to that on the same taper's recording of the concert four nights before ("U2 in Boston - May 24, 2005").  Below are my comments for that recording:

The overall sound is very clean and the recording features a good mix of instruments and vocals.  What differentiates this recording from the best Vertigo Tour bootlegs is its rather sterile sound.  The top shelf recordings from this tour have a much warmer feel than this bootleg.  It's difficult to explain, but this recording sounds like it was recorded in a large domed stadium rather than a more intimate hockey/basketball arena.  The relatively weak low end is likely at least partially responsible for this.

Again, the taper makes several adjustments to the recording volume during the opening song, which on this night was "Love and Peace or Else".  Overall, audience noise isn't much of a problem.  However, a few individual conversations near the taper are audible...the most noticeable ones that I caught on my initial run through were during the first half of "City of Blinding Lights".

During "Into the Heart", Bono brings a couple of kids on stage.  After the song, he asks them their names.  One responds "Paul", the other "Alex".  Bono then says "Well, my name is Paul.  I call myself Bono."
