I do not accept, nor do I distribute, recordings with a lossy format (mp3, Real Audio, etc.) in their lineage.
I prefer to complete 1:1 trades online via my private FTP server. If you have a high speed internet connection and would like to complete a trade by uploading to/downloading from my server, please e-mail me. Files should be compressed in a lossless format (shn, ape, flac).
Sorry, I do not do B&P or 2:1 deals. I will delete all e-mails inquiring about such trades.
If you are only intersted in acquiring bootlegs via B&P or 2:1 or you insist on trading to expand your collection but you have nothing to offer me that I don't already have, I recommend that you check out the numerous U2 fan sites and message boards on the internet to find a trading partner. These sites are not too difficult to find...just do a Google search. Or you can visit the various torrent sites (see my "Free Downloads" link) that allow you to download a plethora of U2 bootlegs for free.
The fastest way to get my attention regarding a trade is to send me a list of the recordings that you have that are of concerts for which I do not currently have a recording or that are obvious upgrades to recordings in my collection. If you make me sort though your list, you may have mixed results getting a resposne.
I work very hard preparing detailed reviews of my bootlegs to assist collectors in determing which recordings they want to acquire. I know that not everyone has the time to do this, but I expect that you will at least provide me with a rating for each recording in your collection when proposing a trade.
Please do NOT use generic CD-Rs. Any name brand (Sony, TDK, Fuji, etc.) will be fine.
All bootlegs should be recorded using Disc At Once.
I do not include artwork and I do not expect you to. However, if you are able to, I would be very appreciative.
I do not send CD-Rs in jewel cases. I have learned from experience that they inevitably break in route to their destinations.
If you live outside of the United States, please use air mail when sending CD-Rs to me. Of course, I will do likewise. For international trading, I send via Global Priority Mail (5-7 days) to all countries to which the U.S. Postal Service offers this service.
Please be honest when estimating how long it will be before you can send the CD-Rs. I will usually have them in the mail within three days. I will notify you if I am terribly busy.
