History: master > CDR
NOTE: This bootleg has an interesting sound. It was transferred directly from the master to CDR, so the sound is very clean. However, the clapping and voices of the fans near the taper seem to be in the foreground more than the music and Bono's vocals. Obviously, audience noise is a factor. The recording still makes for a nice listen, but you're really left to wonder what could have been.
Disc 2, Track 1 is a bit of a mess. The first thirty seconds or so is Edge's guitar outtro to "Bad". Then there is a very sloppy edit followed by "New Year's Day". All of this is indexed on the same track.
The crowd chants "Let it go...and so to find away" after the band finishes "Bad". After nearly a minute of the crowd chanting, Bono sings "If they should ask, well maybe they tell me what I should say...". Edge starts strumming away on the guitar and eventually Larry and Adam join in as well just before "It's desperation, separation, in temptation, isolation..." The band then plays "Ruby Tuesday" outtro for two more minutes. Definitely one of the better performances of "Bad" on the Joshua Tree Tour.
