NOTE:  This is a very rare bootleg of the first night of the Joshua Tree tour.  The sound quality is pretty good, especially considering the extreme rarity of CDR recordings of this show.  There are no major technical problems.  Bono's voice was toast due to several days of practice in the dry desert air before the tour began.  For those of you who are familiar with more recent material, Bono's voice sounded much better during the PopMart concert in Sarajevo than it did during this first Joshua Tree gig.  That should give you a good idea of how bad his voice is during this recording.  A glaring ommission from the setlist is "With Or Without You", probably due to Bono's voice (similar to the latter half of the Lovetown tour).
