NOTE: This is a pretty difficult show to find on CDR. That having been said, this is not the same recording that one would normally stumble across if he were to be so lucky as to find this concert on CDR in some dark corner of the internet. This recording was transferred from a first generation DAT recording to CDR and is in very limited circulation (i.e. besides Jeff Parkin, the person who traded it to me, I know of only two people who have this recording on DAT: the taper and a middle man who passed the show on to Jeff).
Sound quality and clarity are both very
good and audience noise is minimal. There is a very small skip at
0:34 of "Pop Muzik" and a slight volume adjustment at the beginning of
"Mofo". There are a couple of skips at the beginning of "Sunday Bloody
Sunday", the first of which sacrifices the opening line, "I can't believe
the news today." Regardless, this is an excellent acquisition for
any PopMart fan given its overall quality and rarity.
