NOTE (from dreamoutloud, distributed with .flac files): The source for this remaster was an amazing audience recording by a guy called vortex242 ("Vertigo Berlin").  This excellent recording is probably one of the best recordings from the European leg of the Vertigo Tour.  On a bad day U2 delivered an awesome perfomance. It was the day when bombs exploded in London and Bono dedicated RUNNING TO STAND STILL to the victims.  Surprisingly no setlist changes were made, even BEAUTIFUL DAY was played during pouring rain.  Despite these bad conditions the audience was in great mood resulting in a wonderful atmosphere.  Crowd noise is mostly not present. Sometimes Bono's voice is a bit far-off, but especially Edge's guitar comes out very clearly.  A great extra is the last track, an acoustic version of THE HANDS THAT BUILT AMERICA in perfect quality.  This is all in all a very recommendable recording.

NOTE (from dreamoutloud, posted on u2torrents.com): (I did) a lot of things (to this recording): noise reduction, equalizing, declicking, master band compression, adjusting dynamics, volume adjustment for some speeches.  I hope you like it. The source recording by vortex was almost perfect, so there was not so much to improve. But there was some distortion at the high levels and the whole recording sounds a bit more powerful now, to my mind.

NOTE (from taper, vortex242, posted on u2torrents.com): There was absolutely no rain during the Snow Patrol and U2 shows.  Wonder where you got this info from..
