NOTE: Music and vocals are both quite strong for an audience recording from the first leg of the Lovetown Tour.  For some reason, on the whole, audience recordings from the Lovetown shows in Australia and New Zealand are probably the lowest quality recordings from any leg of any U2 tour.  Thankfully, these recordings are better than the average bootleg from this leg of the tour.  The audience is pretty rowdy and Bono talks a lot.  "I write some pretty good songs.  I can't play them though.  But Edge can play them.  So can Larry.  What difference does it make?"

I will say it again...I believe that this period represents U2 at their finest.  The band improvises and changes things up constant.  You can feel their enthusiasm in the music.  Most importantly, you can tell that the band was having fun.  For example, in the middle of "Stand By Me", Bono calls Larry up to the front of the stage and Larry sings the final verse.
