NOTE: A decent audience recording from of a very early U2 performance -- the second concert on the first leg of the Boy Tour.  The overall sound is clean, though fairly distant and somewhat muffled.  Audience noise is virtually non-existent.  There is a fade in and out between "The Electric Co." and the second playing of "11 O'Clock Tick Tock".

The band does not receive a terribly warm reception from the audience.  It is very wierd to listen to Bono get heckled.  After "Stories For Boys" he says "I don't know how you feel about people like yourselves.  We're sort of giving out an awful lot of our flesh and that sort of thing..."  The crowd responds with a chorus of boos.  Bono continues, "I was told you don't like that sort of thing."  Obviously, Bono was frustrated by the lack of a connection between the band and the audience on this night.  Before performing the encore, Bono again addresses the crowd, loudly clearing his throat to get everyone's attention.  "You've been very open tonight.  Thank you.  Certainly you don't like singers talking like this."
