NOTE (by searcher2cr, posted on Dime A Dozen): The sound is a bit distant owing to the recording location and large outdoor venue amidst a mostly standing ground level audience on a cool fall evening down by Lake Ontario. Bono makes a few comments about the size of the stadium in comparison to their first Toronto concert at the El Mocambo tavern on Dec 9, 1980.
NOTE (by searcher2cr, posted on Dime A Dozen): Here's my last U2 concert recording I made. It not as nice sounding as the Massey Hall and MLG Toronto tapes I've recently torrented, but its not too bad. I'm not sure if there are any better souces available for the concert already circulating.
NOTE: This recording is an upgrade from
Joshua
Tree Toronto - 3/10/87. The overall sound is quite strong and
Bono's vocals feature prominently in the mix. The accoustics in the
venue aren't the greatest, and the echoing sound of Bono's voice can be
heard over the speakers on occasion. A few portions of the recording
have a minor rolling quality to them, with the volume seemingly dropping
a bit.
