NOTE: This recording is very solid overall. Nice sound quality and clarity. The sound is pretty powerful, not distant. Audience noise is audible between tracks and a few stray voices can be heard from time to time during the music, but this is nothing to be concerned about.
Another fun concert in the Boston area. Bono sings the opening lines of "I Still Haven't Found" a capella. While not on the same level as the many "excellent audience" recordings from the Joshua Tree, this bootleg would make a very nice addition to any collection.
The editing on this recording does leave something to be desired. There are several seconds of dead air between "Bullet the Blue Sky" and "Running To Stand Still". This edit seems to conveniently put Bono out of his miserably, as he was having troubling thinking of an impromptu ending to "Bullet". There is another sloppy edit between "Running To Stand Still" and "Exit". The final chorus of "Pride" is missing and the recording cuts directly to the opening notes of "One Tree Hill".
There is a soft fluttering/ticking noise
during portions of "The Unforgettable Fire".
