NOTE: This commercial bootleg documents a concert that is very difficult to find on CDR. Overall, the sound on this bootleg is very good -- clarity could be a bit better, but it is still quite nice for a recording from this era. There is no background noise and the audience is not much of a problem at all. Disregard the setlist for this show that is printed in U2 Live: A Concert Documentary. Pimm Jal de la Parra had done an excellent job compiling information for this very useful book, but there was obviously a dearth of material at his disposal for these Tokyo gigs. The only commentary provided for them is for the first night (which happens to be available on the commercial bootleg "Live In Tokyo 1983"), so I feel confident in assuming that he had difficulty finding a reliable source for information on the other Tokyo gigs. Anyway, on this recording, after "A Day Without Me", Bono says "Tonight is the last night...the last concert for U2 in your country, Japan."....this would seem to be a pretty good indication that this is truly the 29 November 1983 concert. Coincidentally, it is mislabeled as 30 November 1983 on the cover art.
