Recording Equipment: Recorded using a Sony digital mic ECM-717 with a built in amplifier powered by a watch battery with a Sony portable mini disc recorder MZ-R37 with Sony mini disc.

Taper's Location: On the floor in the back near the soundboard.

NOTE:  Overall, the sound quality of this bootleg is excellent.  However, there are a few problems worth noting.  The taper can be heard adjusting his equipment at the very beginning of the recording.   At the beginning the recording is a bit thin and sound quality fluctuates from time to time.  The sound is a bit wavy during "Elevation"...it's hard to describe...about the best I can do is to say that my ears kept wanting to pop like they do in an airplane or elevator when listening to disc 1, track 1.  Strange, I know.....Anyway, this problem quickly disappears after the beginning of disc one.  There are a few other minor flaws including a serious quality dropoff during Bono's opening vocals to "Bad".  Again, these are very short in duration.

Crowd noise is more of a factor on this recording than it is on most Elevation bootlegs.  Individual conversations can be heard on several occasions, although they are definitely not in the forefront of the recording.

The highlight of the show is without a doubt "Stay (Faraway, So Close)".  A guy named Jonathan gets up on stage and plays the keyboard while Bono and The Edge perform out on the tip of the heart.  Just before he begins playing Bono says "Jonathan, you're crap, you're off.  Take it easy...simple...no flowery stuff.  This is a U2 show."  The crowd goes nuts as Jonathan starts getting a bit bolder at about 2:30 into the song.
