NOTE: Finally a recording of the first Elevation concert in Anaheim has surfaced. It's not the greatest recording around, but it could be a lot worse. This bootleg would be much better if it weren't for an abundance of audince noise. Sound quality is pretty good, but there is quite a bit of screaming and chatter.
Here are Dan's comments:
On
the 23rd I was in the 11th row right in front of the GA entrance/exit and
it felt like security was right up in my face. Also, there were too
many people jumping up and down and hands in the air for me to get a decent
recording. Instead of turning
the
camera off (it's a Sony Hi8), I kept the camera on and held the camera
up at shoulder level for the entire show. I won't lie, it doesn't
sound great (maybe a 'C'/'C+' grade) and it's not DAT, but it's the only
recording of the 23rd that I know about...I ran the camcorder through my
stereo and put the audio to a cassette (I know it seems so backwoods now)
and my friend ran the cassette through his computer and put the audio to
CD. There are times when the cassette runs a little quick, so the
audio is a little fast.
