NOTE (distributed with .vob files and/or posted on u2torrents.com):

INFO:

As you can see, this will not be a complete show, but a mix of all the camera footage available so far from this concert. (If your sitting on material from this concert, please let us know, for a future v2.0 of this DVD)

The Oslo show is the only Vertigo 2005 show which is GA ONLY! Therefore you shouldn't expect very steady filming on this DVD. Most of the video footage is shot very close to stage though, so look out for some beautiful closeups and some real U2 moments!

Hopefully, this DVD will give you the feeling of being in the GA area at a U2 concert, with all the shoving, heads that block your sight etc...

CREDITS:

First, a BIG thanks to TommieG who has ran this project from start to finish. He has done a lot of the filming, he tracked down an audio recording, and he has edited the DVD. We will forever be grateful to him for making this DVD as a perfect memory for us and the other 40.000 people at Valle Hovin 27th of July 2005.

Then a big thanks to rat6464 who has already freely shared his audio recording of the show, and allowed us to use it on the DVD!

Last, but not least, a big thanks to the rest of the people that have contributed, listed under "crew" below. Please forgive me if I left someone out!

ADDITIONAL INFO:

It's one main cam (JVC Everio GZ-MC500E 3CCD videocam) with fill-ins from 12 other sources. Most cams for one song is "Miss Sarajevo" with 8 cams, "STREETS" with 7 cams, and down to "The Electric Co." with only the main cam. Sources from a total of 13 cams were used for the editing process. They are NOT from 13 complete sources. But most of the DVD is shot from very close to the stage, so expect some beautiful closeups! But also a lot of unsteady filming, blocking heads and hands.

NOTE: An absolutely amazing DVD compiled from thirteen different digital videos sources -- from both camcorders and still cameras with video capability.  The footage from the latter is a bit jerky, as the frame rate on these devices is not high enough to produce smooth video.  As is mentioned above, there is one "main" camera (JVC Everio GZ-MC500E), which seems to have been located just to the right of the b-stage on the right side of the stadium (Adam's side) about twenty-five rows back from the stage.  The audio is clean and strong, although there is some audience noise (mostly clapping) audible near the taper on occasion.  To be honest, this makes the audio much like the video in terms of providing an "at the concert" experience.
