NOTE: An absolutely awesome recording of the final concert of the Elevation Tour. The DVD includes footage from two cameras and audio from Bono's earpiece. The audio is flawlessly dubbed over the videos, so the audio on the DVD matches the movement of Bono's lips and Larry's drumbeats perfectly. In addition, transitions from one camera angle to the other are very smooth. The people responsible for putting this DVD together deserve a great deal of credit...they did a fantastic job.
The band closes out the tour with a great show. Highlights include a guy who Bono thinks looks like Jesus ("This is Jeses...I love your early work", Bono says to him) playing "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", a girl dancing with Bono on stage during "Bad", and Bono's hightening annoyance with a photographer who is constantly on stage taking pictures. The latter reaches its crescendo during "Streets" when Bono flips the photographer -- who is standing to his right on the stage no more than three feet away -- a bird (see screen capture #41). As the band gets ready to leave the stage for the first intermission, Bono grabs one of the photographer's cameras and walks around the stage looking through it.
The DVD includes a main menu and a secondary menu that allows viewer's to jump directly to individual songs. Chapter divisions occur at the proper locations between songs.
