The video of the "Something Else" set is solid overall, but there are a few occasions on which the picture is shaky for a brief second.  Transitions between songs have heavy distortion (1-2 seconds), with the video becoming unstable and the audio warbling.

The footage of the Gateshead concert is very nice, although lines appear across the screen on a few occasions during the first two songs.   Click here to see a see a screen capture showing this distortion.

The video of the "Kenny Everett Show", "Top of the Pops", and "TV Gaga" performances is excellent.

I took the DVD that Ciaran sent me (apparently burned on a standalone unit, so chapter divisions were in the wrong places), ripped the .vob files, re-encoded the files to .mpg, and burned them to DVD with menus and proper chapter divisions.  I also trimmed the videos to eliminate digital noise on the top, bottom, and sides of the picture.  The screen captures that you will see when clicking on the links throughout this review were produced before I edited edited the DVD that Ciaran sent me.
