NOTE: Shot from in the stands on the left side (Edge's side) at about a 30 degree angle from the stage. Footage features a nice mix of closeups and wide-angle shots. Video sharpness and clarity are excellent. Audio from Bono's earpiece feed has been dubbed over the video -- it is perfectly in sync. The audio is a bit funky during "Elevation", as there is almost an echoing quality to Bono's voice. This problem disappears before "Beautiful Day". Every once in a while the fans standing in front of the taper to his left present a minor obstruction.
Bono pulls two little girls on stage during "New Year's Day", runs around the back of the heart with them, and then sits them down on the heart behind Edge's keyboard. He sings a few words while sitting with them, then gets up and goes back to the middle of the stage. As he introduces "Kite", Bono says "I am the Wizard of Oz. And these are my two new friends". He dedicates the song "the Two Dorothies". At the very end of the song, he sings a few words from "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". The girls sit on the stage until midway through "New York", when Bono returns them to their parents.
Note that "Stay (Faraway, So Close!)", most of "Bad", and the beginning of "Walk On" are missing. Part 2 begins with the last few notes of "Bad", just as Bono is beginning to transition into the "40" snippet.
