Mothers of the Disappeared
NOTE: Although it was transferred to DVD from a fairly low generation VHS tape (second generation), the video on this DVD lacks definition and sharpness. While this detracts from the overall viewing experience, the DVD is nonetheless very watchable. The audio is solid, but not quite as crisp as it is on most soundboard recordings from this era. Definitely not a top shelf DVD, but a decent acquisition if you're looking for more pro-shot material. The inclusion of "Mothers of the Disappeared" in the setlist is a big plus.
The first half of the concert is indexed
pretty well, but the index points become very haphazard starting with "Bullet
the Blue Sky". Many songs during the second half of the concert have
two or three indices. Furthermore, there is no menu that allows
you to skip directly to a specific song. Therefore, to avoid headaches,
plan on watching this DVD from beginning to end.
