NOTE: Shot from inside the heart, this recording offers the viewer a very unique perspective. For those of you that never had the pleasure of watching an Elevation concert, now you can get some idea of what it was like to be so close to the action. As some of the screen captures show, the view of the stage is obscured by people in front of the taper more often than not. Nonetheless, there are plenty of great closeup shots of the individual band members. The picture lacks the sharpness that is apparent on digital videos, leading me to believe that this was filmed by a VHS camera. Audio is about average for an audience-shot video.
There is a brief section during the beginning of "Get Up, Stand Up" during "Sunday Bloody Sunday" when tape degradation becomes apparent. The video stops, several still pictures of Bono performing are inserted, and the audio quality changes. This lasts for about 30 seconds.
