NOTE: I created this DVD by ripping the .vob files from another DVD that I received, re-encoding the files to .mpg, and then burning the file to DVD with a menu and chapter divisions.
The original DVD that I received had no audio in the right channel, so I cloned the left channel and dump it into the right. This makes the new DVD mono, but this is nonetheless a significant upgrade over having audio in only one channel. As you can probably imagine, it is virtually impossible to perfectly synchronize the audio over three different videos. The synchronization on this DVD isn't perfect, but it is really good in my opinion.
The video includes footage from three tapers -- one located in the stands straight away from the tip of the heart, one located in the stands on Adam's side at an approximately 30 degree angle from the stage, and one located in the stands on Edge's side at an approximately 50 degree angle from the stage. All three cameras provide wide angle and closeup shots; however, the majority of the footage is wide angle. The tightest closeups from the straight away camera are a bit pixelated. Every once in a while the straight away camera captures the pro-shot footage that was broadcast on the four screens above the stage (see screen captures). On occasion you will see some fairly chincy "special effects" that make a point of announcing changes from one camera angle to another.
There is a noticeable edit between "In A Little While" and "Angel of Harlem" that sacrifices part of the first verse of the latter. The audio and video throughout the first part of the Charlton Heston Speech track (the singing before Heston speaks) is extremely choppy.
