NOTE: This DVD includes footage shot by many different cameras, including digicams (still cameras with video capability).  After the footage was mixed together, audio from the bootleg "La Vie En Rose" (MD Panasonic + Sony ECM 719, Taper = Cheucheumeu) was dubbed in.  The music on during the intro is from the bootleg "Our Home Faraway From Home" (MD Sony MZ-NH700 + Aiwa CM-DS6).

The framerate and resolution on the video from the digicams is lower than that on the footage from the digital video cameras, so it appears a bit choppy and not as sharp.  All of the tapers who contributed video to this DVD were located well back from the main stage, so the majority of the footage is fairly distant wide-angle shots.  There are a few nice closeups of band members performing on the b-stages, however.  The two main video cameras are located high in the stands -- one is straight away from the stage and the other is on the left side (The Edge's sid) at an approximately 45 degree angle from the stage.  Most of the digicams were on the ground in GA.

This DVD includes some interesting editing.  A television commercial for the One Campaign is shown during Bono's speech before "One".  Bono's speech during the concert is audible in the background.  During Adam's intro to "With or Without You", a few still photos are edited into the video.  In the middle of the song, just before Bono sings "My hands are tied, my body bruised...", the video cuts out and a number of still photos are combined into a montage of sorts over the next minute or so.  The video reappears as Bono starts to sing the infamous "Whoa-oa-oa-oaa" and continues throughout the rest of the song with a few more still photos of Bono dancing with a girl from the audience superimposed over it.  "All Because of You" is almost entirely a montage of still photos.

Personally, I feel that too much footage from the digicams was included in this video.  In essence, the decision seems to have been made to include as many different camera angles as possible at the expense of the overall quality of the video.  The end result is a decent audience-shot video, but not a product that is up to par with other multi-cam DVDs from the Vertigo Tour.
