NOTE: I used Cool Edit 2000 to mix "The Power of Love" (audience recording) with an ALD recording to form this matrix recording.  I amplified the audience recording to 150% and divided the recording into approximately 30 segments that I then stretched to match comparable segments from the ALD recording.  In most cases, the difference between the Audience and ALD recordings was between 0.05 and 0.2 seconds.  After stretching the audience recording segments to match the ALD recording segments, I mixed the two together using Cool Edit's Mix Paste -- Overlap feature.

The levels on one of the source recordings were a bit hot at times, so some very light static can be heard on a few occasions when the sound is loudest.  In addition, as is often the case with ALD and IEM recordings, there is some intermittent static at times when the signal drops off or changes a bit.  On this recording, that static largely limited to between the end of "In God's Country" through "Where the Streets Have No Name".  The static is by no means constant, nor is it overwhelming.  And mixing in the audience recording helps to minimize its effect.  Nonetheless, the static is certainly noticeable at times.  Click the link below to hear a sample from "All I Want Is You" that will give you an idea of what these sections of the recording sound like.
