Pitch Correction By: MLK

NOTE: This recording was transferred to CDR from a first generation analog cassette.  Despite the low generation, the tape played at the wrong speed.  MLK, who received a CDR copy straight from the first generation cassette, used Soundforge 8 for pitch correction.

Overall, the recording is clean and the sound is pretty powerful.  However, there is just a hint of murkiness to recording.  My ears keep waiting for the clarity to improve and break free from the very slight muffled quality that is present.  I don't mean to imply that this recording is anything short of "Excellent Audience"...it's just that the clarity never quite breaks through to the level that is often present on recordings transferred from such low generation tapes.

Audience noise is a minor issue, as the voices of a few fans seated near the taper can be heard on occasion.  This is usually limited to a few words between songs or singing along with the music in the background.  There is a noticeable edit between "All Along the Watchtower" and "All I Want Is You", but only crowd noise is lost.
