History: DAT 1st > CDR

NOTE (by Scott Zumsteg, from Georg's U2 Bootleg Trading Site, run by Georg Nigsch): This was the tape that was never released if you could call it that...The same taper did the Lakeland, Miami and Austin that were commonly about on CDs in the mid 90s. This one never made it there probably do the fact during "Bullet The Blue Sky" a security guy is chasing him around the arena (because he was in the wrong seat) for about 1 minute, until the guy finds a new seat. Amazingly, you hear all of "Bullet The Blue Sky" through this. The CDR was mastered off a set of metal tapes from the DAT master.  Its a really nice recording in the end. In order to obtain this recording I had to agree to restrict it to rare trades only. So, serious trade offers only, please.

NOTE (Justin): A very nice recording from the first leg of the ZooTV Tour.  There are only few recordings from this leg that have equal sound quality.  That's not to suggest that it is one of the best audience recordings from the entire ZooTV Tour.  It's just that recordings from the first leg tend to be slightly inferior to those from the rest of the tour.

Anyway, I think that the sound on this recording is a little better than on "Reunion in Texas".  And the source information for this recording is known.  The music and vocals are bit stronger on this recording.  Again, individual voices can be heard near the taper on occasion.
