NOTE: Recorded directly from Bono's earpiece feed. Sound quality and clarity are outstanding. This recording doesn't have dropouts or static like many of the Elevation Tour ALD bootlegs. There are a few minor glitches:
0:25, 0:41-0:42
"Elevation" (small dropouts)
2:55 - 2:59
"Beautiful Day" (dead air)
1:17
"Until the End of the World"
(static)
5:32 - end
"In A Little While" (dead air)
1:16 - 1:18
"Band Introductions" (dead air)
A minidisc swap was necessary during the band introduction, so the first part of the intros is missing.
The title refers to the controversy that developed when a sizable group inside the heart turned their backs to the band in protest of U2 allowing "beautiful people" to be placed in front of the stage instead of those who had camped out over night. HBO filmed the concert and wanted attractive people in front of the stage...the band did not stop them from being put there. The incident was an ugly episode in which the same band that used to warn against being eaten by the corporate monster seemed to have joined forces with it.
