I think it sounds really fantastic and I know alot about the show. In fact, there is a different sound to the
version I got from you than the one I have on VHS. For instance, the drum intro to Gloria, the
tom-tom drums echo when Larry hits them. Also, on October, you are not able to hear the
crowd noise as well. On my VHS copy, if you listen closely (and I have because I've watched
and listened to that show probably a thousand times!!!!) you can hear a guy laughing??? and
a girl screaming something (I always said she was saying, "We love you Edge," but there's
no way to know what this person was saying.

Anyway, I love the CD itself, I think the sound is great and the extras that I got with it being
the entire show is great. For instance, the intro to Sunday Bloody Sunday is almost identical
to the one from the Rockpalast Show from Under A Blood Red Sky, " There's been alot of
talk about this next song...maybe, maybe too much talk....." And yet on the VHS version, he
doesn't say all that. In addition, I wish the editing would not have been so strong between
songs. Was this because they had to cut out commercials?

But the biggest concern was the fact that on your track listing on your website, you have "I
Threw A Brick.." and "A Day Without Me" listed as if that is from the Red Rocks show. IT IS
NOT. It's easy to tell this. And although I didn't feel deceived, I feel you run a really fantastic
site and thought others might benefit from this information. Another question is this: Why is
the CD entitled "..Outtakes". Is this because it is not the ENTIRE show? It would be hard for
me to know if the other songs that are not on the VHS version are really from the Red Rocks
show, although they sound as if they are based on acoustics and the crowd noise. Yet the
songs that appear on the VHS version do have a slightly different sound to them as well, but
they appear to be the same versions that are on the VHS copy. Does that make any
sense?????
